この曲では、下野竜也マエストロの指揮によるNHK交響楽団の素晴らしい演奏をお聞きいただけます。冒頭は、静かに物思いにふけるような、しっとりとした雰囲気で始まります。２分ほど経つと、穏やかなテンポはそのままに、クラリネットがソロで「べらぼう」のテーマをそっと奏でます。しかし、曲が進むにつれてオーケストラの響きはどんどん力強さを増し、その主旋律を大きく広げながら展開していきます。そして、クライマックスでは勢いよく解き放たれ、最後は祝祭感あふれるファンファーレで締めくくられます。
This piece, performed by the enchanting NHK Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Tatsuya Shimono, begins with a contemplative, thoughtful mood. At about the two minute mark, we hear the Berabou theme on a solo clarinet, still playing at a gentle tempo. As the piece goes on, however, the orchestra’s power builds and builds, unfolding the theme until it breaks out into full flow. The piece ends with a celebratory fanfare
