べらぼうの果て / Beyond Unbound
この楽曲は、『べらぼう〜Unbound〜』の主旋律に『Glorious Edo』のモチーフを掛け合わせ、日本橋へと進出し大きな成功を収めると同時により重い責任を担うことになった重三郎の成長と成熟の姿を力強く描き出しています。かつて底辺から這い上がろうと必死にもがいていた孤児の面影は、すでに過去のものとなりました。今や彼は、風格と落ち着きを湛え、自らの力で道を切り拓かんと歩みを進めています。その変化を音楽は雄弁に物語っています。重厚なブラスの響きと力強い打楽器が加わり、新たなステージに立つ主人公の姿を堂々と支えています。
Combining motifs from Jyuzaburo’s “Unbound” theme and “Glorious Edo,” this piece’s power and stature mirrors Jyuzaburo’s growing prominence and maturity as he moves to Nihonbashi and assumes a position of greater success and responsibility. He has left behind the scurrying existence of an orphan trying to make his way up from the bottom, and begins to carry himself with greater presence and dignity. In keeping with that, the music wields power and scale. A full brass section and powerful percussion support the new, more successful protagonist.
